We're finally online! You may be asking, "What's this site all about, anyway?" Well, it's not too much of a story, but here goes:
For decades, there has been a well-known tradition in Athens, Ohio known as the Court Street Shuffle. Perpetuated primarily by nearby university students, the rite-of-passage entails having a drink from every bar on/near Court Street, often occurring on the person's 21st birthday. Since at last count there were upwards of 19 bars there, you can imagine the potential for inebriation.
Our long-term goal is not necessarily to encourage this practice, but to develop an area where students and Athens residents can get a hold of the essential basics for daily survival: Ramen, tuna, regional news and much more. Of course, we'll also sell the T-shirts!
So welcome to CourtStreetShuffle.com, and expect much more to come.
